About us

We’re the FVG Film Commission, we solve problems

The FVG Film Commission was born in 2000, one of the first to be founded in Italy. Since then, we’ve been supporting hundreds of projects – films, documentaries, TV series, music videos and commercials.

Oscar winning directors and young talents alike have accessed our services since, but our commitment has been exactly the same no matter how big a project. In 2003, we were the first to create a film fund. Since then, for more than 10 years, the FVG Film Fund has supported countless productions choosing to film in our region. We have proven experience in dealing with film production administration and logistics issues.

Given our thorough knowledge of a relatively small territory, we are able to handle the location scouting directly. A gallery of locations is available on our website, and you may request to access our database of more than 35.000 photos, a mapping so extensive we are able to send photos in advance to schedulling your surveys, saving time and money and helping us establish your needs. One of our location scouts will take you onsite and help you make your choice, an assistance we will also guarantee to productions not supported by the FVG Film Fund.
Our experience in the field of administration will help you overcome annoying difficulties, like obtaining permissions to film in public places or buildings or on sites protected by the Board of Cultural Heritage. Together with the local administrations, we are committed to reducing your expenses, and quickly obtaining permissions cheaper or free of charge. We have long established partnerships with local hotels, and can also provide production offices, equipment, tailors, etc…

Moreover, we will assist you with communication and in dealing with local media and institutions.

FVGFC is also a member of the Coordination of Film Commissions Italian (Italian Film Commission), which operates a joint promotion of the various regional offices, and founding member dell’EUFCN (European Film Commission Network) representing the Film Commission associated with the European market.

FVGFC closely involved, at regional, national and European level, with some of the most important institutions in the film and promotional: ICE, Anica, AGIS, CINECITTA ‘HOLDING, Eurimages, MEDIA SALLES, ANTENNA MEDIA, CINEREGIO, DOC IT, etc.
